Southern Legends

All five members of this band are local musicians who were born and grew up in the Georgiana and Greenville, Alabama area. Two of the band members performed at the first Hank Williams street dance celebration held in downtown Georgiana, Alabama which later evolved into the Hank Williams annual celebration. Music is primarily a hobby for these musicians and they often play for charitable events such as festivals and benefits.

Band Members are as follows:

Greg Bowden/drummer. Began drumming at age 13.Employed by Hometown Medical Supply Company.

Randall Cauthern/lead guitar and singer. Began playing music at age 12.Former teacher and construction company owner. Current owner and operator of Cauthern’s Barn.

Judy (Buddy) Manning/singer. Began singing in her early teens. Former elementary teacher and administrator in the Butler County School System in Alabama. Currently employed by the AL. State Dept. of Ed. as an educational consultant.

Edna (ET )Thomas/bass guitar and singer. Began singing at age 3 and played guitar at age 6. Assistant manager of Dollar General. Edna is a member of the Hank Williams Fan Club Board of Directors.

Leroy Thomas/rhythm guitar and singer. Began playing guitar at age 7. Employed by Evergreen Forest Products. Life time management career in forest products. Played for various country artist appearing in south Alabama.
